Halloween for Winston

Halloween is my least favorite holiday, but it is my husband's favorite. I don't like the idea of blood, anything scary, or grossness glorified...maybe because I'm scared of my own shadow. Whatever the reason is, there is one exception--I do like the idea of dressing up my dog in a funny costume (any clothing really! Yes, I'm one of those people....haha). For Winston's first halloween he is a jolly green dragon (or dinosaur, it's open for discussion :D).

Below: One of my new favorite photos of the love of my life. My husband is spectacular. That is an understatement--he is the absolute best person for me. Now I'm not saying our marriage is perfect, but as we work to make it better each day I learn how well we compliment each other. Bradley, I love you. Thanks for always making me laugh.

Above: Before I left for my family shoot this afternoon, I noticed Winston was enjoying one of his MANY naps. This time, basking in the warm sun.

Below: Then after my AWESOME family shoot, there was just enough light in the sky to grab these quick pics. So, for all you photo geeks out there, excuse the 1600 ISO and all that it entails :) and enjoy the goofiness of Winney's costume!

Above: Check out that nose and those eyes!! He is not liking us right now....haha

There wasn't enough light to get many more pics without busting out the flash...which I'd rather not have photos than have flashy ones. Personal preference :)

Back to business :)

Photos in the line-up waiting to be edited-blogged!

Angle Me Right Workshop (HECK YES!!!)

That's probably the sweetest dog I've ever seen. Nice of him to let you put the costume on him. Great shots.

Nice use of light in these photos. Is Winston going to go help you speak at the university?

Erin and Brad, We love the picutres, Winston is so handsome. We are so fortunate to have him living with you, thank you so much. I love the costume, I will forward it on so his brothers and sisters can see how handsome he is. It looks like it is warm and sunny there too, it is so cold here, we are already wearing coats and have the heat cranked up.
