Kim & Jon's Wedding
Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 11:09PM Kim and Jon's wedding was spectacular. Last Saturday they tied the knot in Abilene :) at the beautiful First Christian Church...it was my first time to photograph a wedding at this church and it is a rare gem! It contained bright beautiful windows, white shutters, soft cream tones, wooden pews...it is now officially my favorite ceremony/church venue in Abilene. There were no florescent lights to fight with, the backdrop wasn't distracting, ample natural lighting--and there were ample spots to get good pics.
Their reception was at the new Bob Hunter Building at Abilene Christian University and it too had great great lighting! Whenever planning your wedding, if you want to ensure good photos, lighting is the most important element to consider (that and details :D).
Then after the reception, they had a private and intimate dinner for close friends and family out at Perini Ranch Steak House in Buffalo Gap. Talk about good food! :)
Thank you both so much for asking me to do your photos, you two are a complete joy. Every part of this process was so stress free and enjoyable. I hope you both had a delightful honeymoon! I'm still wondering where you two went :D, I bet it was amazing!

The colors were so bright and happy! :)

Here is when they first saw each other...so sweet and tender. I just LOVE these moment :)

The shadows are so beautiful!! Check out everyone's face as she walks down the aisle :)

LOVE IT!

The bouquet toss was awesome, she flung it from upstairs and it went right over the heads of all the girls :D

:)

Check out that sunset!! Kim's brother pointed it out to me! Thanks :D

Yay!!!
Afternoon weddings are perfect! WOW :D. I hope you find some photos you cherish :)
