This pair loves lens flare, light shots, and to laugh...so we had a blast (well at least I did! :D)

And Chris and Ashly were referred by a mutual friend Amy! Amy and I are currently hosting a wedding shower, lingerie party and bachelorette event for our bff Crystal. I couldn't think of a sweeter person to work with to create a fantastic time for our mutual friend! To see who I'm talking about, check out this fun shoot we did a while back...we had lamp shades on our heads on one point! haha.

Sarah and Josh met while attending the University of Texas and currently live in the Dallas area. They got married in Sarah's home church, Tarrytown United Methodist Church in Austin, Texas. Their reception was at Austin Country Club. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Not only were the flowers spectacular, but the band, Blind Date, was superb.  They played with so much energy and they were able to play all genres--the only way I could describe them was that they were full of life--and it was contagious! That is just one of the many reasons as to why there are so many photos :).

Josh's and Sarah's families were so on top of things! We completed all photos before the ceremony, so everyone was off to the reception immediately following...also meaning, great detail shots! Linda did such a fantastic job, there were so many delightful items for me to take photos of!! 

Above: They had a yogurt bar, with all the delicious trimmings to decorate your dessert with! Check out the table arrangements for this fun filled room. There was a photo-booth, Josh's UT tower cake, and great lighting :). 

Sarah and Josh were such a great couple to take photos of...it didn't matter how many people were looking. They were so natural with each other, having the time of their life.

Above: The band ended the night by running off stage and jumping on the table! It was so awesome :D. The crowd finished the night by singing UT's fight song! So many longhorns!! :). And for all you longhorn baseball fans, Sarah's dad, Tommy Harmon, is UT associate head baseball coach! 

Below: Rose petals are classic, I love it whenever the petals leave their sweet fragrance. A sweet exit in more than one way! Too bad you can't smell things in photos or video...Speaking of video, they had Crescent Video capture their day! Such a sweet company to share the evening with! 

I know you two had a blast at your wedding, I wish that you always enjoy spending time with each other for the rest of your life. You two were a delight and full of life! Thank you for asking me to capture your wedding :)

Please meet their kind, outgoing, loving, fun-filled, and photogenic family. Claire and Russel (parents extraordinaire), Berlin is 5, Preston is 2.5, and Fin is 4 months!! You can always tell whenever a family loves each other, and this family certainly does. And talk about one amazing mother...I didn't realize the amount of coordinating that is involved to get 5 people to match! Claire had to put together 15 outfits..30 shoes!! And still able to make everyone smile and she brought props!! 

Below: My absolute favorite moment from the shoot is whenever we were taking photos outside a church, and Russel asked Preston what he was doing (as he looked inside the doors of the church). He responded, "looking for Jesus."

So here we are in Austin! Exploring, having a blast, and I got to know this amazing couple. They work together in the Houston airport! They have such gentle spirits, kind hearts, and are excited about getting married. One of my favorite things about their session, was that Pam specifically said she wasn't crazy about kissing photos...and Todd was then determined to steal some kisses. Those moments made the best giggles, happiness, and candid yumminess.

Above: Great thing about photos, is you can't really tell what's going on around you...well, just to the left there are stairs and a local crew of movie makers creating chasing scene for their movie! Poor guys, they had to race up about 5 flights of stairs, at LEAST 4 times....right Pam? So much fun :)

Also, as we were taking photos on top of this hill, I heard....."Erin??" Brad's college roommate and our good friends (that live in Flowermound--near Plano--which is about a 3 hr drive away) were hiking with their friends!! Crazy right?? Sometimes I'll see people I know whenever we are shooting in Abilene, but never in Austin, friends from Dallas, on a hiking trail... :). (Tyler and Ann Hastings rock!!!!)

Internet, people meet the joyfilled and loving Magali and Josh. They have been dating for about four years and ever since they first saw each other--they knew something was special about each other. 

We drove around Abilene, goofing around, tickling (tickling each other, not me tickling...gosh that would be weird!!), laughing, and just loving the weather!

For their engagement session, we met Friday morning and were off to divide and conquer--however, conquering the elements was more difficult than it appeared! We started at a junk yard. Then we went to Kirby Lake since Lyndi and Stewart got engaged there :). It was a morning session, and we needed to travel around to the East side of the lake for lighting purposes...while we were trying to manuever around the lake we got stuck--trapped--swamped--in Lyndi's SUV with water up to the door. Yikes.

One thing's for sure, judging how well Lyndi, Stewart and her parents handled this surprise I was impressed. My favorite quotes from the disaster were, "If your husband plans on doing more mudding, I hope he gets a bigger vehicle". And as Stewart jokingly said, "Man, I wish you (Lyndi) were driving, because I knew I'd have been able to get us out!" (hahaha)
