Moses | Family

Yesterday afternoon, I got to photograph the cutest little girl (again)!! During the summer I got to photograph Shea, Tyler, and Anslee. Well, they wanted some fresh shots for their Christmas card! I think this time around Anslee felt either more comfortable with my big black camera clicking and it helped that Tyler's parents came to help out and to get some solid family photos :).

Thanks so much for making this session precious!

Above: I just love how she would stand on her tippy toes :D

Above: So precious!! I love finding random furniture :)

So beautiful :)

Thank you so much for asking me to do your photos! I hope you find some that will work splendidly for your Christmas card! And I hope yall are settling into your new home!

belinda + matt | engagement

I met Belinda and Matt yesterday for their splendid engagement session. We took photos in Abilene, drove around, and all the while I got to cuddle, pet and love on their adorable four-month old dachshund (weiner dog)! Belinda is about to start student teaching, she wants to be a middle school math teacher. Matt is studying to be a high school counselor! Awesome right? They actually have known each other since high school!

So everyone, may I happily introduce Belinda, Matt and Bella :).

Above: Check out those cute skin rolls on her legs! So adorable :)

Beautiful eyes!!

Below: And my favorite pic from their session!! Way to go Ann Thai Restaurant :)

Thank you both so much for asking me to take your engagements! I wish you both the best with school, moving, student teaching, and starting your new life together :D

And I can't wait for your bridals Belinda!! :)

jamie + darren | wedding

On Halloween, I had the blessing of photographing Jamie and Darren's fantastic wedding at Paradise Cove in South Lake, Texas. The wedding was well planned, the venue was organized, perfectly situated, and the weather cooperated :). It is obvious how much this couple cares for one another--and how celebrated their marriage is by friends and family.

Again, thank you for asking me to capture your day!

I hope you love the photos...I picked more than usual, I could not narrow down my favorites!

Jamie, you're so elegant :)

Above: Didn't they do a great job decorating?? I love the linens and dark wooden chairs.

Above: In order for the guests to be seated, they had to walk down a sidewalk that was adjacent to the water...well, from my seat all you could see were moving heads! I don't know why I like this pic so much, but I do :D

Above: I love Darren's expression.

Above and Below: The guys were trying to keep a serious face.... :)

Below: On the right...one of my new favorite pictures! Doesn't she look like she belongs in an Anthropologie magazine?? I adore how the light outlines her face and dress.... :)

Reception time!!!

Below: Probably one of my all time new favorites. I'm trying to convince myself NOT to get an enormous canvas of this photo!!

Above: Darren is an excellent saxophonist (let me know if that's not a word). Darren and Jamie's sister played a song for everyone. It was spectacular!

Below: The photo on the left, she is throwing candy at a fellow bridesmaid. Love it :). Two photos down on the left, a dedicated groomsmen is trying to catch the UT game.

And their off!! Hope you two have a fantastic honeymoon!!!! And best wishes to your new life together :)

herrod | family

Ohh sweetness. Brad and I are a ways from starting a family--although, after spending time with the Herrod's yesterday, the love their family shows for one another gets me so excited for my future family! I photographed their cousin's a while back! You may recall a fantastic family that jumped in the pool, clothes and all :D.

Awesomeness must run in the family! These photos are for their Christmas card (which will be through The Event Messenger). I'll be sure to take photos of the finished product so everyone can see the beautifulness she creates!

We started taking pics at their house in Arlington (the most beautiful trees!) then headed towards downtown Arlington (all the while, successfully dodging Cowboy's traffic). And check out their outfits, Gina did a FANTASTIC job coordinating, but not being matchy-matchy :).

Here is what was captured! Enjoy.

So much laughter!! Hope you enjoyed them :)

It was great meeting you all, and as for the oldest, Brittany, you'll be seeing much more of her! More explanation later :D
