Finally!!

So my website is officially under construction! Meaning, I have set time aside to gather what goes where and all that fun stuff. Usually I post all my photos through Facebook, so having a website will be such a blessing!

On Sunday, I had the opportunity to photo Katie Beth and Jonathan. It was such a treat to photo a couple that care so deeply for one another. I think in the photos it is quite obvious of their love and gentile manner in which they handled another. They both appreciate more artsy photos (also Jonathan's a photographer) so it was nice having them trust me with the more seemingly odd ideas. As well as, they had some great idea's coming into the session which makes my job easier!

The Jones

We are finally getting some AMAZING weather, it really is becoming perfect time to take photos! I got to take Heather and Joseph's photos yesterday and I am so tickled with how they turned out. I'm starting to get a better feel with Lightroom and loving the simplicity of it and how it prevents me from messing them up too greatly! However, still frustrated with how long it takes to import, export and then find where did I put those photos.... I'll eventually create a more effecient work flow...so--any suggestions would be so appreciated...

 Okay, so here are my favorites!

They were amazing, I tried to get up on top of the bails...and so unsuccessful!! Way to go :D haha

We were thinking we could create some cute stationary using this! I know it's corney, but I couldn't resist! It would all to perfectly allow their family and friends to "keep up with the Jones'" haha

I love photoshop :D

I am starting to lean more in this direction with my style...I love the soft ambiance and it's almost as though you can feel the warmth.

San Antonio on V-day

Valentines Day! I had the splendid opportunity to take Megan and Michael's engagement photos...so beautiful! They had the amazing idea to use the old mission churches as our site. Their passion for each other is so evident, I think they turned out amazing!  Here are some of my favorite:

They were such great sports, amidst all the people staring they still carried on! Thanks to both of you!! And thanks Meg for referring me to Linda, she has been so sweet and she possess so much energy! More to come later :D 

Under N1st

Some people are simply a joy to work with. Kathleen is one of them. I always feel sorry for people whenever they take photos of me (Shannon or Bradley!), for I lack that kinesthetic ability to judge what positions look good and I continually mistake a good pose with an embarrassing one. I can tell other's what look good, but not for myself...This is luckily not the case with Kathleen. Almost every pose you see, she created by herself, no correction needed. Can I buy that talent somewhere? Clone it perhaps? Because that is something I do envy :D. Thanks for the great evening and showing me that new spot!
