There were so many amazing ones I had a hard time choosing the best of the best :D

Most adorable couple EVER.

Sigh. If I never get to do a session again, and this was my last one, I'd retire as a happy happy photographer :D

Hailey scheduled her engagement session at her grandparent's ranch just outside of Austin because so many amazing memories took place there while growing up. But is just so happens to be a complete dream to photograph too! It had a beautiful little creek, swings, an old stone wall with a framed window and door, and a treehouse?!?! Plus a canoe was involved in there too, I'm not sure if it gets any better ;)

Hailey and Charles' moms were roommates and best friends in college so they knew of each other their entire lives, but didn't officially meet until a ski trip their sophomore year at Abilene Christian University. How amazing is that? Talk about moms knowing best :D. They are graduating in May and Hailey is majoring in advertising/public relations and wants to work for a corporate or non-profit organization. Charles is a physical therapy major and has plans to attend medical school next June. Yay! One day they would love to do medical missions together in a foreign country.

With these photos, what you see is what you get: One amazing couple that completely loves each other and Jesus. It makes my heart so happy to be able to photo them :D

I hope y'all find many you love!! And I cannot wait for your wedding this June!!

Below: This photo is upside down, but it's their reflection in the water! So much fun. :D

Sweet Taylor family!!

I met Sara my freshman year at Abilene Christian, where she was my peer mentor for a semester. Then later we took some classes while I was working on my masters. Since then we've been friends! Sara was my first model as soon as I switched over to Canon way back in the day. Although, that session really didn't produce any great photos (mainly because I only had a 70-200mm lens at the time for really, really far away shots :-/). She was so nice to smile and pose a bunch even though I was about 100 ft away lol.

Right now they live in Houston and we had their adorable little session in Zilker Park in Austin. Still probably one of my top favorite places to take photos. Main reason: If you get hot, just walk around in the water. Yes or yes? The night before I had a wedding at Terrytown United Methodist Church and rememebered they had a huge pumpkin patch set up. Well, little Reid is obsessed with pumpkins, so we went on down there to finish out the session.

Reid is such the perfect gentleman!! Holy smokes, I hope my kid is as well behaved :D. I'm so impressed! They are such caring and sweet parents. I love you guys!!

These are a little later, but better late than never :D

Here are my pics from over the holidays. My sweet little twin nephews came down to visit and I spent 8 fun-energy packed days with them. Oh hurry up and come back to Texas please :)

Oh I'm so excited to share these!  Everyone please meet the Roberts family.  The last time I got to photo them, little Fin was about 4 months old!  Claire did such a great job brainstorming ideas, she called all around Ft. Worth and found the best little roof top to start the session and then we worked our way down to a park where signs of the fall season were definitely all around.  Check out her awesome umbrella idea too!
