Kaitlyn and Jason's wedding day was such a blast! What I loved about both of them was their lighthearted sense of ease about the day.

The beautiful church where the ceremony took place let in just the right amount of perfect sunlight to brighten everything up. Afterwards, the event moved on down the road a bit to City Place and the reception was held 40 stories in the sky with a spectacular view of Dallas. Incredible!

The dancing and festivities were a true celebration in every sense of the word :D. It was so wonderful to see how many people supported Kaitlyn and Jason on their big day, and to capturing it was a joy. :)

YAYYYY!!!! The day has come to post the sweet images from the wedding we photographed with Wednesday!!!! If I could pick one favorite thing from this event, I would just go ahead and say it. However, this event has culminated to a new level of awesomeness my mind cannot compute :D. Since Jessica had such a hand in the festivities and knows everything inside and out, I will let her do the describing:

“Many waters cannot quench love, rivers cannot wash it away”

Almost everything leading up to the wedding could have been considered less than ideal. Two months prior to the wedding we were venueless when the original venue double-booked. A month before the wedding we all held our breath as an Oklahoma tornado came within two miles and destroyed houses near the new venue. The outdoor rehearsal dinner was nearly blown away by 40 MPH winds. The groom's ring was nowhere to be found the day of the wedding. And to top it all off, unrelenting storms threatened to washout several months of tireless of planning. Yes, this could have been considered less than ideal, but Rebecca and Lucas laughed, smiled and were nothing short of content. It was so precious to see two people so incredibly joyful and certain about their decision to be together that nothing could discourage them from the love and excitement they felt that day.

Rebecca and Lucas are known for having reading dates. If they are driving in the car or just looking for a cheap date, they will read to one another. Cute in an endearing, quirky way, right?! So, we decided to play up the book theme when designing this budget conscious, DIY wedding for my little sister. Almost every detail was hand crafted with book pages and fabric to add some cheeky character to the day.

Please enjoy!

Look at those baby goats!! So cute :)

camille + tyler | wedding | arlington wedding photographer

Camille and Tyler fill up any room they walk into with joy and happiness. I think every friend and family member at their wedding would agree that this pair is a happy match, in disposition, temperament and personality. Such a joy to photograph and quite the beautiful wedding to experience :D.

Camille and Tyler first met while attending Baylor University. Camille has recently graduated and Tyler as finished up his first year of law school. Such an exciting and eventful time!

They tied the knot at Camille's home church and then had their reception at the Sheraton in Arlingon, Texas. The reception venue was in a circular building outside the hotel, nestled amongst some trees and surrounded by water. It was so unique, and provided a great view for everyone since the room consisted of so many windows. At the end of the night while guests were outside getting ready with sparklers, Tyler and Camille had a private dance to themselves. So special!:D

Thank you both for such a beautiful night full of joy.
