kelsey + drew | fort worth photographer | engagements

YAY! World please meet adorable Kelsey and Drew :D. We met down at the stockyards and went from there, and we had the perfect weather. I hope we have this great of weather for their wedding! :)

Kelsey and Drew met at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Actually, Drew was dating one of Kelsey's good friends (and now bridesmaid :D). She spent a good bit of time trying to convince her friend that Drew was an incredible guy, but thankfully the arguments didn't stick hehe :D. Soon Kelsey and Drew became best friends and spent every moment together. They even successfully kept one another from dating anyone else by finding something wrong with every new prospect that came along, but it still didnt click between these two! That moment didn't happen until 4 years later! After graduating and being split apart they realized that their lives just weren't the same without one another! Nothing beats marrying your best friend :D.

Drew is currently a landman and striving to open his own taxidermy and outdoor shop! Whereas Kelsey is currently a graduate student and teaching fellow at the University of North Texas, pursuing a career in exercise science and recreation management! How cool :).

Beautiful Megan!!

Here are her gorgeous bridals, I'm in love with so many of these! We did them at one of my favorite places to take portraits, Vintage Villas in Austin :D.

Ryan + Megan's wedding coming up next!

Yippie!! Two beautiful features :D

Allison's beautiful bridal session is featured on Aisle Candy!

Head on over and check out this fabulous wedding blog!

AND Hailey and Charles' Ralph Lauren-like engagement session is on the dedicated and delightful French wedding blog fi(lle)ancée YAYY :D. My French is basically nonexistent (that's what Brad is for!) but some of the photos and inspiration on that blog are quite splendid indeed :D

Sigh. If I never get to do a session again, and this was my last one, I'd retire as a happy happy photographer :D

Hailey scheduled her engagement session at her grandparent's ranch just outside of Austin because so many amazing memories took place there while growing up. But is just so happens to be a complete dream to photograph too! It had a beautiful little creek, swings, an old stone wall with a framed window and door, and a treehouse?!?! Plus a canoe was involved in there too, I'm not sure if it gets any better ;)

Hailey and Charles' moms were roommates and best friends in college so they knew of each other their entire lives, but didn't officially meet until a ski trip their sophomore year at Abilene Christian University. How amazing is that? Talk about moms knowing best :D. They are graduating in May and Hailey is majoring in advertising/public relations and wants to work for a corporate or non-profit organization. Charles is a physical therapy major and has plans to attend medical school next June. Yay! One day they would love to do medical missions together in a foreign country.

With these photos, what you see is what you get: One amazing couple that completely loves each other and Jesus. It makes my heart so happy to be able to photo them :D

I hope y'all find many you love!! And I cannot wait for your wedding this June!!

Below: This photo is upside down, but it's their reflection in the water! So much fun. :D

The sweet Rector family has a new little addition! Please meet adorable little Tripp.

I had so much fun with this family, a huge thank you for asking me to take your pics! It's pretty normal for parents and furniture to get peed on at a session, but this was a first for me...... and let's just say I was initiated with the pee TWICE! I was about 2-3 feet away each time it happened too! Great aim, haha! I feel rather honored now that my official initiation to newborn photography is complete ;) hehe

Hope you love them!
