The sweet Rector family has a new little addition! Please meet adorable little Tripp.

I had so much fun with this family, a huge thank you for asking me to take your pics! It's pretty normal for parents and furniture to get peed on at a session, but this was a first for me...... and let's just say I was initiated with the pee TWICE! I was about 2-3 feet away each time it happened too! Great aim, haha! I feel rather honored now that my official initiation to newborn photography is complete ;) hehe

Hope you love them!

Sweet little Luke!!

I mean, how can anyone not just love him at first sight?! Amber, mom, did such a great job finding these adorable hats through Etsy!! Way to go.

Little Luke was a dream, he basically slept, yawned, and made cute faces the entire time. It was the perfect little session :D. I hope yall find some photos that you love!

Babies are amazing.

Especially the little bitty ones!!  Conner was born three weeks early, healthy and perfect.  We did his little newborn session and he was such a good baby.  He knew exactly what he wanted: to be held and/or be warm. That turned out to be rather tricky, though, since most newborn pictures are done with few clothes and instead of being held the babies are placed in some unique spots.

Nonetheless, after he cried a bit ;) he gave us some adorable sleepy pictures!

A huge thanks to the parents and grandma for making this session work :D.

And now world, please met sweet Conner:

Oh sweet baby Ryan!  He was so well behaved and content.  His one request was, "please hold me".  At any time if he got upset, the formula was to pick him up, and wah-la, a happy baby once again :).  We got some great pre and post photos from before he was picked up and then after while Mike was holding him.  So precious!!

Carley had some adorable outfits and props for him too!  My personal favorite was the little red and white hat, and the best prop was definitely an old briefcase!  Thank goodness no accidents inside of that :D

Such an adorable nursery!

So, Lauren and Josh (the blessed parents of this perfect child) are probably the ideal example of how parents should be for pictures. Lauren's repeated mantra was, "it's worth it for a good photo," so much so, that she was willing to try numerous locations, various outfits, and repeated attempts to get smiles, laughs, and sleepy time. Thank you both so much for your encouraging attitudes, great conversations, and your enthusiasm for life. It made this session shine. Let me know what you think about the pics!

Above: Hummmm? OH MY GOODNESS. If this beautiful little boy just doesn't warm your heart, I give up. He is so perfect!

Above: Josh works for DFW SWAT team. So, we obviously had to use this AWESOME paraphernalia! Cam is such a beautiful little boy :)

Above: One of my favorites!

awww :D
