jeanie + matt engagements

Last week I met up with these sweethearts for one happy engagement session.  We had perfect weather for a perfect couple.  How much more ideal could it be? :D

Jeanie and Matt met at church camp while in the middle of high school.  Their best friends introduced them to each other and now they are going on 6 years strong!  They became engaged to one another over the holiday season.  At Jeanie's house Matt had lit candles everywhere and had a path of rose petals leading up to a giant present in front of the Christmas tree.  Well, inside the present was a smaller present, and then a smaller present, and so on until the very last one was the ring :)  Amazing!!

Matt is from Odessa, TX and is now studying business management, and Jeanie is from Midland, TX and is going to Texas Tech to become an event coordinator.  Their wedding is going to be at Possum Kingdom Lake, and I am thrilled!!

erin + kolby engagements | ft worth photographer

I actually got to meet sweet Erin and Kolby a couple months ago at a wedding! It was such a delight getting to spend all morning with them. We meet in the park, drove all around Ft Worth, and found ourselves some wonderfully bright walls! So much fun :D

This sweet couple attended Abilene Christian University and met sophomore year at a football game, they went on a first date not long after that. Kolby played football for ACU and is studying exercise science and would like to become a football coach. Erin is a speech pathology major and is waiting to hear back from possible grad schools!

They are amazing together and they have a sweet life ahead of them! Enough said ;)

I thought I had already posted these!  As I was packaging up their CD it struck me as something was off... how can I forget something so amazingly sweet?  I think the crazy holiday season is getting to me :D

Please meet Lauren and Cameron.  They met through Pine Cove Christian Camp, in Tyler, Texas, in the summer of 2009.  It was Cameron's third year and Lauren's first year.  After serving alongside one another for six weeks, they parted ways, but not for long!  Cameron called her his first weekend off and the rest is history :).

Summer of 2010, at the end of camp during the final staff meeting Cameron spoke to the group about implementing what was learned at camp to the "real world".  Then he smoothly transitioned into proposing to Lauren in front of staff, best friends, and family who were hiding in the room upstairs.  As Lauren says, "God is just so so good."  I have to agree!!

We started off in Ft. Worth and then drove around and found some great new places!  Eventually, we ended up at the Tillman's Roadhouse in Ft. Worth.  I had NO idea that I live so close to it!  TROUBLE!  Nothing beats homemade S'mores :)

Oh sweet baby Ryan!  He was so well behaved and content.  His one request was, "please hold me".  At any time if he got upset, the formula was to pick him up, and wah-la, a happy baby once again :).  We got some great pre and post photos from before he was picked up and then after while Mike was holding him.  So precious!!

Carley had some adorable outfits and props for him too!  My personal favorite was the little red and white hat, and the best prop was definitely an old briefcase!  Thank goodness no accidents inside of that :D

Such an adorable nursery!

As someone so kindly mentioned, I start every post with the word, "yay" and to be honest...I just have to! I'm literally so excited to post yet another session.

Alright, here it goes, please meet Jessica and Ryan.

They had their wedding ceremony on a bright, beautiful day in McKinney, TX, just a little ways north of Dallas. Many people may not have heard about McKinney, but it's probably one of the coolest cities you've never heard of and a complete photography goldmine.  It has been rated the fastest growing city in America several times, and has been ranked as one of the top 10 cities to live in for the whole country.  Not bad, eh?

Both the ceremony and reception took place at the Grand Hotel, right off the downtown square.  This meant that some great photo locations were just a short walking distance away from the wedding site, making for a splendid variety of photos with Jessica, Ryan, and company.

Jessica completely made the wedding a reflection of her creative-beautiful self. So many gorgeous details, fun ideas and beautiful arrangements. I wanted to take a few things home with me!! haha

I hope you find some you just love!
